Love after love

Waving at my husband as he stepped out of the front door, I felt so bittersweet about it all.

Heading out to another exotic location, Corey, 62, was going to be having the time of his life on yet another film set as an experienced stuntman.

It was something that we’d first bonded over after meeting in a bar back in 2001.

‘It must be dangerous,’ I’d told him all those years ago.

‘A few bumps and concussions along the way,’ he chuckled. ‘But nothing serious.’

In fact, Corey had convinced me to start my own career as a stuntwoman, where I even appeared as a stunt double for Edie, played by Nicollette Sheridan, in the hit show Desperate Housewives.

But recently, our similar careers had been pulling us apart, rather than pushing us together.
