Dessert is the best part of a meal. I’ve always felt the need for something sweet after eating. But it’s the anticipation of dessert that I find most exciting. Dessert is the feeling of knowing the night isn’t quite over. It’s the joy of bringing a dish to the table and watching everyone’s eyes light up.
I’m typically the designated dessert person. The one who volunteers (or is volunteered) to bring along something sweet, and it’s a role I love and take very seriously. The person bringing dessert has much to consider. So if you’re the designated dessert person or you’re bringing dessert for the very first time, I want this book to do the thinking for you! It will give you the answers and inspiration for what to make, no matter the occasion, and get you excited about all the sweet possibilities.
