CANARIES

BACK in early March, I was delighted to welcome my friend Matt Eld into my birdroom, to film an episode for his Canary Room YouTube show. March worked well, as I do not usually commence breeding my Yorkshires until April, and 2024 is really no exception, although more of that later.

Matt arrived to find me half-way through completing a new wall of cages, again made from uPVC, which I have used for many years now, refining my designs along the way. The cages feature pale green uPVC plastic backs, which I greatly favour over all-white cages. I explained that the colour was known as Chartwell Green, part of the standard roofline uPVC product range available in the UK.
