'FROM THE BIRDROOM'
AFTER an eventful year, in both the breeding and show season, we are all focusing on and planning for our forthcoming breeding activities.
Last season saw me return to the Fife hobby after a short, “self-enforced” sabbatical. So I thought it might be of interest to provide an update on the past year, having been writing exclusively about the Yorkshire canary for a few months.
A new breeding team of Fifes was installed in my birdroom thanks to the support of Charlie Gardiner and encouragement from others and were again alongside the Yorkshires once more. What followed for me was a breeding season like no other.
