PETS in the Garden

Here are some tips to help prevent an all-out war of wills between pets and their humans.

1. If your dogs run up and down a fence line, don’t put plants in that area. They won’t last long and will only irritate you. Make that the dog run and garden around it. You2. If your dogs love bonemeal, swap it out with superphosphate so that your pets don’t dig up your newly planted seedlings.3. Give them their own space. Somewhere in the shade and with a bowl of water or if they like dog kennels, many can form part of the garden décor.4. Play with your pets so that they don’t become bored and chew or dig up the garden.5. Know what traits different breeds have. Some will tend to dig more than others.
