SPECIAL TECHNIQUES

ATTACHED I-CORD EDGE

1. Using 2 DPNs, cast on 3 sts.

2. K2, then slip the third (last) stitch as if you were working a purl stitch from the left needle onto the right needle.

3. With the wrong (bumpy) side facing, pick up 1 st through the edge of the knitting. 4 sts.

4. Pass the slipped stitch back over the newly picked-up stitch and off the needle.

3 sts.

The first stitch of your i-cord is now attached to the edge of the bag.

5. Without turning the work, slide all 3 sts to the end of the needle, passing the yarn
