Labriola on putting ’22 in perspective

It was July 26, 2022, and the Steelers were in a place that managed to be both completely familiar and totally unfamiliar at the same time. They were back at Saint Vincent College for the opening day of training camp for the 54th summer after being away for the previous two because of Covid-19, but for the first time of the Mike Tomlin era the top line on their quarterback depth chart was going to contain a name other than “Ben Roethlisberger.”
