Which is pretty much how my chance to ride the American KTM Adventure Rallye back in 2010 came up. I’d heard the event was being staged in Moab, Utah, and I knew the place was famous for its slick rock canyon riding, Jeep tracks and mind-bending scenery that looks like it came straight out of a Road Runner cartoon.
It didn’t take too much arm-twisting to get my good mate in Los Angeles, Big Rich, in on the tour — which was kind of handy, because he’s got a fleet of dirtbikes and a mighty Ford pick-up lining
