It was during a conversation with journalist Mariella Frostrup that 50-year-old Gabby Logan had her “big penny-drop moment” and realised she was in perimenopause.

“The symptoms Mariella was describing were quite low level and that really resonated with me,” says the TV presenter and former gymnast, who is an ambassador for supplement brand Vitabiotics’ Menopace range. “I thought: ‘This is similar to what’s happening to me.’ I had thought it was just ageing.”

We caught up with the BBC sports host, who’s mum to 18-year-old twins Reuben and Lois with former Scottish rugby union star husband Kenny, to find out what’s helped her through this time…
