We won’t give up

Looking at my daughter receiving her degree, I was proud as punch.

Jordan, now 26, had graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a degree in policing and criminology.

And me, her dad Lee, 50, and three sisters, Georgina, Jade and Jessica, were so proud.

‘I can’t wait to see what you can achieve,’ I told her, wrapping her in a huge hug.

Jordan had always wanted to be a police officer.

At 13 she joined the Police Cadets and took to the role like a duck to water.

Rising through the ranks, she won countless awards, constantly making her family proud. She was even the top cadet in Lancashire and the first female High Sheriff Cadet in our area.
