Jennifer Crumbley, the mother of the convicted Oxford High School shooter, has been found guilty of four counts of involuntary manslaughter in a historic case for America.

Ms Crumbley’s guilty verdict marks the first time a parent has been charged, tried and convicted for their role in a mass school shooting perpetrated by their child.

She had pleaded not guilty to the four counts of involuntary manslaughter, after her son killed four of his classmates in November 2021.

But, after hearing two weeks of bombshell evidence about the days surrounding the massacre – and after 10 hours of deliberations – the jury found the 45-year-old guilty of all charges.

Her husband James Crumbley is set to be tried separately in March on the same charges. He has also pleaded not guilty.
