Regenerative seed potato farming trial

Potato farming has traditionally been associated with soil disruption and a heavy reliance on chemicals.

However, there is growing interest in exploring ways to produce high-quality seed potato crops economically while minimising the use of synthetic inputs and embracing regenerative agricultural practices.

RegenZ, a KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)-based regenerative agriculture proponent, is on a quest to find out if this can be achieved through its Crane-Friendly (CF) Trial at a farm owned by the Ivanhoe Farming Company in the KZN Midlands.
