It’s the modern way to meet – but marriages forged after matching on a dating app have been found to be less stable than those of couples who connected in real life.

More than 900 Americans were surveyed in the Arizona State University study, with half having found partners on apps. While many of the marriages were assessed as high quality, the relationships of offline lovers scored more highly overall.
