The giant tube suddenly slows down to taxi-speed and just like that we’re abiding by a whole different set of rules – the rules of the road. Finally stopping, the door opens, and enclosure makes way for freedom and fresh air. We go through transitions such as these every day and at the dawn of my tricenarian (A person in their thirties; between the ages of 30 and 40) decade, I had to apply whatever flap I could find and pedal I could push to slow down for a moment, just to make sense of the tremulous transitioning from twenties-twink to my so-called dirty thirties.
