It is a reflection of Lang Lang’s commitment to music education that he seizes every opportunity to fit teaching into his hectic touring schedule. His recent visit to London was no exception, when instead of taking a night off between two performances at the Royal Albert Hall, the Chinese piano superstar chose to spend his free evening giving a masterclass at the Royal College of Music.
