SWIMMING WITH A COLD

Q Can I swim with a cold? Does it make it worse? Seth Coates

If you have a fever, chest congestion or body aches, avoid swimming until recovered. However, if your symptoms are mild, such as a runny nose, then it's likely fine to swim. If you have good cardiovascular fitness, this'll help you tolerate a swim session when not feeling 100%, though do a shorter or less intense session. If you're new to cardio training, then exercise more caution and avoid swimming until your symptoms improve.
