AS I STATED last month, three tools I like to use to build soloing ideas are repetition, call-and-response and “handcuffs.” I began this discussion by demonstrating various ways to utilize repetition as a phrase-building tool. In this lesson, I’ll present some more ways to use repetition as an effective soloing springboard.
