Child’s Play

There’s only one person in the world who’s prouder of Steve Ward’s ultra-rare Monogram Lagoon MG ZS 180 than he is… and that’s his son, Jayden. The youngster is following in his dad’s footsteps as an out-and-out enthusiast of the MG Rover-era cars and is now taking care of most of Steve’s maintenance for him under the tutelage of his car-mad father.

“In terms of work, he now does all the routine servicing on the car: oil and filter changes, coolant changes and flushing and bleeding of the brakes,” said Steve. “He also helped to re-build both front brake callipers at the age of seven. I checked the tightness of the bolts afterwards but it was all done correctly and I trust his workmanship.
