As Christmas approached in December 2018, Elisha and Leland Pankey's chaotic lives were quickly unravelling.
Since being evicted early on in the year, they'd lived in hotel rooms with their two kids.
Only, now they'd split up. Leland had moved to another hotel.
Then on 17 December, Elisha reported Leland for domestic assault.
She claimed Leland had choked and threatened to kill her in November 2017.
Now he was sending her threatening texts, she said.
Leland was arrested.
