The other weekend, I stumped up the fiver entry fee and attended a large local car and motorcycle event, meeting up with a pal there. Wandering down a row of nice but rather late model motorcycles, I opined that although what was there was kind of interesting, it didn’t float my proverbial boat, as there wasn’t much early stuff on display.
My pal, a veteran of such events, answered: “Well, you just don’t get exotics at local shows.”
