I think all trappers that have lived the trapping life will be asked to help end some type of nuisance animal control or predator depredation at some point. More folks are moving into rural areas and predators are moving closer into sub-rural locations. There will also be a need for trappers that can help farmers and ranchers with predator problems.
The step up from trapping fur to nuisance animal damage control takes some study into each animal’s traits and how they operate. This is especially true with large predators. The wolf, lion, bear, coyote, fox, raccoon, beaver and bobcat all have different methods of operation.
