He used a 600mm lens, long enough to bring these elephants much closer. His shutter speed was 1/1 250 second. Remember, even when the animals in your photo aren’t moving around much, it’s important to use a fast shutter speed when you’re shooting with a telephoto lens because it will prevent camera shake.

I like the dramatic difference between the wet, mud-covered elephants in the foreground and the dry ellie at theif we could see each elephant’s head clearly.)
