STARTING OUT

FIRST ALLOTMENT GET GROWING

When I took over my allotment in March 2019, I didn’t realise how lucky I was until I started talking to other people. I sent an email to my local council on the Thursday enquiring about taking over an allotment and two days later I was on the site collecting my keys! Something I have come to realise is almost unheard of. It’s more likely you will be added to a waiting list and when a plot becomes available and you reach the top of the list, you’ll get an exciting call!
