The CX-3 is Mazda’s ageing offering in the hotly contested compact SUV segment. The range was rationalised in mid-2023 with the deletion of manual transmission and all-wheel drivetrain variants. Prices also rose by about $3000.
Powered by a 110kW/195Nm 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, matched with a six-speed automatic and front wheel-drive, the CX-3 is up against more than 20 contenders including Hyundai’s Venue, Toyota’s CH-R and the Kia Stonic.
