EARNING THE RESPECT OF YOUR BTCC PEERS

There is something unusual about the leading players in the British Touring Car Championship in the modern generation. Gone are the days of the Matt Neal versus Jason Plato head-butting and instead there is a genuine feeling of respect among the frontrunning contenders.

There are some outliers, but mainly the successful drivers have a good relationship. Even the top two in the points over the last two campaigns, Tom Ingram and Ash Sutton, have said that they have learned lessons from the close-quarter racing between the pair to help improve their own skills.

So this is where MN steps in to find out what the racers really think about each other. We have polled the top 10 finishers in the points and asked them to rate their 2023 rivals
