His TV writing earned him an Emmy award in 2019. He's also written more than dozen nonfiction children's books along the way, and worked as a network TV producer at the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and at Major League Baseball's All-Star Game. A native of northern Wisconsin, he's lived his entire adult life in the city of Chicago. He is married with two kids. His hobbies include participating in wide-ranging conversations with friends and family, cheering for his favorite college basketball teams, and riding his bicycle.view less
