Stepping into a brand-new car for 2020 might have seemed like bold move for 2017 BTCC title winner Ash Sutton, but the Laser Tools Racing car was a rethink of what had gone before with some cues from the 2019 dominator, the WSR BMW. That turned out to be a very smart move.

There were moments where the Infiniti crew and Sutton started the weekends with a car that wasn’t performing as they would have liked and there was a general sense that they were left scratching their heads.
