Before you go anywhere near coloured polish, your nails need to be in top condition. We asked nail brand OPI’s Karon McKendrick-Taylor for all the answers.
TIP
AVOID: cuticle clippers (you shouldn’t be cutting them!); any metal cuticle implements (these can scratch and weaken the nail plate); and any pedicure blades or foot files (these will make the skin grow back coarser and thicker).
