• Peter Knife outlines the BHP Whyalla Tramway system, including the changes that have taken place. • Ross Hurley presents early South Australian Railways goods wagons, including plans and photographs. • Graham Ahern looks at what would become the eclectic• David Griffiths makes a simple motor bogie to power an O scale CR Gloucester railcar. • Stuart Gamble presents a history, development and operations of the SAR 620 class 4-6-2 steam locomotive. • Don Bishop outlines the history of the North Adelaide railway station and how it was modelled. • Hugh Williams discusses the various styles of SAR Station buildings; Hugh’s presentation is interlaced with photos of the buildings and his models. • John Wilson builds a basic signal controller, in a ‘how to’ presentation. • Les Fordham discusses what we will all need to do eventually, downsizing your layout. • Dean Schluter from the South Australian Railway Modellers Association (SARMA) discusses design influences of the club’s SAR themed permanent layout. This layout as about 15 metres long and in some locations 6 metres wide.
