Chelsea Physic Garden’s four acres of tranquillity make it an inspirational destination, and now there’s a new reason to visit. Not only is the garden celebrating its 350-year anniversary, but its 100-year-old glasshouses have been fully restored and are open once again, nurturing plants from around the world. The London garden was founded by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries to train their apprentices, and still grows a wide variety of medicinal and therapeutic plants. Winter opening runs until 17 December.
