Blackberry picking makes a perfect autumn activity and, with the hedgerows bursting, it’s time to forage. You don’t even need to live in the depths of the countryside, as the hardy blackberry bramble can also be found in overgrown urban areas. Don’t forget to pick the blackberries highest from the ground and enjoy them in crumbles, fruit pies or make your own bramble jelly.
