Can I get a refund for faulty ‘missold’ laptop?
Q In April, I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad gaming laptop (pictured) for my son from Argos for £600 (now £700, see www.snipca.com/47815), but we’ve had problems with it from the start. The battery is faulty and there’s insufficient memory to download multiple games, so it shouldn’t have been advertised as a gaming computer. I returned it in September, but Argos has refused to refund me because the laptop’s specifications were clearly stated on its website. Can I insist on a refund?
