Recently, I have had quite a few requests to test a twin-choke, downdraught Weber DGV or DGAS carb against a single, sidedraught Weber DCOE. In fact, I tried a 40DCOE on a Lynx manifold against a 32/36DGV some time ago. There was next to nothing in it, though the DCOE gave a small torque improvement lowdown. However, the test engine was starting to show oil pressure loss so I abandoned testing.
