Q&A MGB V8 CONVERSION: WHICH ENGINE?

Q I have a 1967 MGB roadster project that is stripped down to deal with rust issues. I’m seriously thinking about the next steps and a V8 conversion is starting to become appealing. Obviously there is a lot to consider but where can I find information on, for example, engine mounts, which transmission, rear axle, gearing, braking etc? Also interested in suspension mods and tyres selected for the build. Any info would be appreciated. I have more thoughts below and would appreciate any input or experience.
