Set in the rolling Somerset countryside and spread across three days and five stages, ArcTanGent has established itself as the leading UK live event for math rock, post-rock, progressive metal and more experimental sounds. And although not everything falls under Prog’s banner, there’s plenty on offer that does. Equally, despite the assumption that festivals such as this and Manchester’s Radar pull in a younger demographic, well, you know what they say about assumptions…

First up on Thursday are psychedelic post-rockers , who, they prove just as exciting as they are entrancing.
