Stage 1 was when Licorice McKechnie gave him a kiss for his 18th birthday backstage at Glasgow Kelvin Hall. Stage 2 was when he went to the first Incredible String Band fan convention in Hebden Bridge twenty years after the band’s demise and surprised himself by winning a String Band trivia quiz.Among other things he is a singer/songwriter.
