How many times have I heard people commenting that they have been invited to bowhunt some game on a small property with lots of animals and that it should be easy? Well, if you are going to feed the game animals in front of a hide and wait for them to come in, it will be easy. However, I am talking about hunting them on foot.
On large farms, you can walk and stalk different animals that have not experienced human activity for a long time. On the smaller farms, however, the animals see human activity all day and get used to it. If they have not been hunted for some time, the first one or two shots may not alert them. Still, once a bleeding animal rushes through other animals, the word is out that there is trouble in paradise! So, when you are requested to help reduce game numbers on a small farm, as I have often been asked,
