The nature of our magazine guarantees that research is one of the skillsets needed to churn out the type of articles that you, the reader, wants to see. The internet and dare I say Wikipedia (shhh, don’t tell anyone…) has made that easier, but to achieve the sort of detail that we strive for, we have to go to the source. That could be the person(s) who were there – though sadly the passage of time is making this harder – or more usually, specialist magazines and newspapers of the day.
