Nisley has written about topics as diverse as classical music, and the history of the Illinois and Michigan Canal, and has contributed to such magazines as Car & Driver, Racecar Engineering, Vintage Racecar Journal, Open Wheel, and Porsche Panorama. Nisley also wrote a series of articles for Investors Business Daily. “The Ragged Edge” was his first book. An avid reader of early American history, Nisley wrote a second book, a historical account of George Washington’s first four years as president, entitled “Washington in New York.” Nisley also has a blog, which can be accessed at richardnisley.com.view less
