There are nine magical days and nights to rejuvenate and get physical, mental and spiritual strength. This occurs during the period of Navratri. This year, it takes place from today until October 23.
Two Navratris occur annually. The first, known as Chaitra Navaratri, occurs during March/April. The second, Shardiya Navratri, is in September/October.
Astrologically, one should tap into the cosmic energy that is provided in abundance during this time.
