If you’re looking for a way to quickly build a database of your precious collections, then Data Crow is that tool. As recently as 2020, it seemed to be on the verge of falling into a state of disrepair. Fast-forward to now, however, and not only has the original developer, Robert Jan van der Waals, returned to the program, but he’s spent the past nine months updating and refining it so that it’s better than ever.
Data Crow is designed to work with a wide range of collections, from books, music and films to newly added modules that let you organise your board games and comic books too. You can input details of your items manually or use online databases – letting you type a name, find a match and then quickly ‘scrape’ that database for information and artwork, just as you would with Plex or Kodi.
