IRISH CREAM: British Vespa Days 2023 AUGUST 4-6, CITY OF DERRY RUGBY CLUB

The first British Vespa Days was held in Northampton back in 2014, and was conceived as an event that would tour all parts of the country. With England, Wales and Scotland having already hosted, it was time for Northern Ireland to play its part in the ongoing adventure. Step forward Ian Hedges, an Essex boy living close to the City of Derry. Obviously it has had its problems in the past, but as local boys The Undertones proved, even in the late 1970s, there was more to the city than the Troubles.

British Vespa Days has gone from strength to strength and evolved into an event that is definitely the jewel in the crown of the Vespa Club of Britain, with rideouts, a Saturday sit-down meal and much more. When the tickets for the weekend went
