DURING the few weeks before I wrote this article I haven't managed to get out birdwatching at all, because I've been far too busy converting one half of the old shed (now workshop) into a garden sunroom for my wife. Previously, of course, it was the main birdroom, but I converted it into my workshop for the stick carving and general storage space when Tony and I originally gave the Glosters up in 2013.
