AFTER the hard work of the breeding season, you will now be gearing up for the show season. As I write, my two main teams are taking shape and cage training is now stepped up.
In my four rows of 10 cages, the top two rows house my number one team, while the third row is allocated to the second team and back-up team. The final row now accommodates my flighted hens and flighted cocks. So now all the birds are housed in one birdroom and I have moved my surplus birds on to - I hope - satisfied breeders.
As I have mentioned before, my birds never let me down in the shows as far as steadiness is
