Five-year development plan for Vale of Berkeley railway - but will step back from Berkeley station

THE Vale of Berkeley Railway Charitable Trust has launched a bold five-year plan to develop its facilities in advance of reopening Gloucestershire’s Sharpness branch as a heritage railway. The group has been working towards reinstating a four-mile section of line from its current base at Sharpness Docks through to Berkeley Road station, where it would link with the Gloucesterto Bristol main line.
