I took all of these images at the Oulton Park race circuit in Cheshire, which I find to be very good for uninterrupted viewpoints. There are some areas where you have large fencing, but overall it’s pretty clear viewing at Oulton Park.
I have a Canon EOS M5the Canon EF-EOS M adapter to make it compatible. Because the EOS M5 has an APS-C sensor camera with a crop factor of 1.6x, my 70-200mm lens actually feels more telephoto – with a 112-320mm focal range – which is ideal for this track. I’m able to capture a variety of shots using it. I can also frame quite loosely, which means I have room to crop further in post-production to achieve a better composition, as you never quite know where the car will end up in the frame.
