WORKING PATTERN DRESS (BEGINNING WITH SKIRT)
Using Thumb Method, 4.00mm circular needle and C, cast on 288 (332, 332, 376) sts, allowing 20cm per scallop (see below). Do not join but work backwards and forwards in rows for scallop edging only.
Work Scallop Edging
Row 1: RS - Purl.
Row 2: K2, * knit next st, slip this st back onto left-hand needle, lift each of the next 8 sts on left-hand needle over this st and off needle, (yfwd) twice, then knit the first st again, K2, rep from * to end. 26 (30, 30, 34) scallops.
Row 3: K1, * P2tog, (K1, P1, K1, P1) into first yfwd (allowing extra yfwd to drop off needle), P1, rep from * to last st, K1. 158 (182, 182, 206) sts.
Do not turn at end of 3rd row; join to work in rounds for rem,
