BOLGHERI

 Campo alla Sughera Adéo 2020

Bolgheri Rosso

The wine has a medium deep bright ruby color. The aromas are delicate, fruity and ripe on the first nose – there are notes of black cherry, black plum and blueberry. The second nose is tangier, and expresses aromas of red fruits (wild strawberries, red cherries and a touch of raspberry). There are also subtle notes of dried thyme, cocoa (in the background) and a touch of minerality. The mouth is expressive, open and juicy. There are flavors of ripe red and dark berries (red cherry, red plum, raspberry, cassis), which linger on the medium-long, but pleasant, finish with slightly jammy notes. The tannins are grippy, but fine, well balanced by a lively acidity. The whole is completed by fine spicy and herbaceous touches (cloves, cinnamon, bouquet garni) on the finish. A pleasant and well-structured wine.

Score: 15.5+/20 (91/100)

On the palate, the attack is round, on ripe black fruits (black plum, blackberry, Morello cherry), crème de cassis and spices (liquorice, cinnamon). The mid-palate is tighter, with a more firm tannic structure. The tannins are a bit
