WHAT IS INSULIN RESISTANCE?

Insulin resistance is a condition where the body’s insulin doesn’t work properly. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas that helps to control blood glucose levels by taking glucose from the bloodstream (where it comes from the food we eat) into the muscles and cells where it is used for energy.
