IN response to Paul’s question regards fuel in his editorial in the August issue, here are my thoughts.
Back in 2017, I read a summary of a report by an independent consulting firm employed by ExxonMobil in an American Petroleum magazine. They report every 2-3 years, and Exxon base its strategic business plan on these reports. Over the previous 25-plus years, these have proven to be 97% correct. It said by the year 2040, fossil fuel will still be number 1 (in the world) with a mix of air-powered, electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles as well. Will this prove to be correct or not? To get some idea, we need to dig down and research.
